Mija uses photography to colour the way he views the world. Taking a surreal and creative approach to his photographs; his photographer's eye analyses his surroundings, judging locations, angles of light, body language; paying attention to even the smallest details.
Intrigued by the themes of Clothing, Identity and the Embodiment of Age by exploring how fashion is constituted in modern culture and the raw expression of personal identity.
Fashion and Fine Art is what he is mainly interested in and has taken influence from a wide range of photographers such as Tim Walker, Mario Testino, Richard Avedon and David Lachapelle.
In his work he focuses on imaginative and artistic virtuosity to produce visually striking images.
He feels creatively involved with people and enjoys collaborating with a wide range of people in the industry.
